Welcome to Mexico city International Airport – transfer to your boutique hotel.
Guests participating in this tour are invited to rendezvous in the Hotel lobby later this afternoon for a tour briefing before departing on a brief tour then continue on to our ‘Welcome Dinner’.
You may wish to arrive a day or two earlier to shop or maybe just to get your bearings and recover from any jet lag you may have. If you do choose to arrive early, we can extend your hotel bookings and provide any information or advice you may need in order to make the most of your time and get yourself familiar with the wonderful city.Day 2: Tuesday 30th March 2027: Mexico City: (B) City Tour w/National Museum of Anthropology /visit local markets.

Begin exploring Centro Historico, the city's historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stroll around the Zocalo, the city's main square, with a rich heritage dating back to Aztec times. Walk past hotels, shops, and government offices that border the square, a popular venue for cultural performances such as Aztec dances and concerts. Admire the imposing façade of the National Palace, made of red volcanic rock, as your local expert narrates the structure’s historical significance. Head over to the stunning Metropolitan Cathedral built upon sacred Aztec land. Get a glimpse of the tall buildings that line Reforma Boulevard as you drive along this arterial road before pausing for photographs at the Independence Monument, a victory column on a roundabout. After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Mexico City, your adventure begins as we hit the road and head straight to Puebla. Upon arrival in Puebla, we'll start with an orientation tour that showcases the city's rich history and architectural wonders—Marvel at the impressive colonial buildings that line the streets, adorned with intricate tiles and vibrant facades. Your guide will lead you through the charming neighbourhoods, highlighting the must-see landmarks and hidden gems that make Puebla special. As we continue our journey, we'll go to the captivating city of Oaxaca. Known for its vibrant culture and culinary delights, Oaxaca offers a truly immersive experience. Our orientation tour will introduce you to the city's vibrant markets, where you can browse and sample the renowned Oaxacan cuisine, including delicacies like mole and tlayudas. Begin your day from the lively historical centre, taking in the colourful sights and sounds at the main tree-lined Hidalgo Square. Steps away, soak in the exquisite interiors of the 18th-century Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Oaxaca’s main cathedral, showcasing baroque architecture and gilded interiors. Within the adjoining monastery complex, visit the Museum of Cultures of Oaxaca which showcases Mexico’s rich history and exotic artifacts including the Mixtec treasures. Later, stroll on the pedestrianized street of Alcalá, flanked by brightly coloured buildings, and enlivened by local artisan shops, buskers, and contemporary street art. Nearby, visit the Macedonio Alcala Theatre, exquisitely decorated in Imperial style with marble staircases, elegant arches, and Corinthian accents. Hopping between attractions, sample mezcal, Oaxacan coffee, and hot chocolate along with the local favourite - fried grasshoppers!Day 7: Sunday 4th April 2027: Oaxaca: (B) Monte Alban + Smoked Pottery Class + CASA Art Center
We'll head up to the Monte Alban archaeological site to meet up w/a certified native guide at 9 am. Make sure to have a good breakfast/snack to fuel up. Next, we'll head to Atzompa where we'll visit a green glaze and smoked pottery workshop and have the chance to create our own pieces! You'll also have a chance to shop for your favourite pieces to take back home! Afterward, we'll have lunch at a local spot before heading to Centro de las Artes de San Agustín. Our last stop will be a visit of CASA in Etla, where we'll get a chance to appreciate the architecture and see the current art exhibitions.Day 8: Monday 5th April 2027: Oaxaca – Merida: (B)
Today we have an Internal Flight Oaxaca- Merida with City Tour in Merida. Later we will transfer to our hotel.Day 9: Tuesday 6th April 2027: Merida: (B) Xmanikté Embroidery Workshop
Today we have a visit to another special textile workshop.Day 10: Wednesday 7th April 2027: Merida: (B) Visit Chichen Itza from Merida + Cenote with drop off in Cancun
Set off on an exciting exploration of the splendid ruins of an ancient Mayan city at Chichen Itza. Saunter around the UNESCO World Heritage site as your expert guide points out the finer details of pre- Columbian architecture. Take a closer look at the well-preserved structures with Toltec influences. Wander around the magnificent Pyramid of Kukulkan characterized by its square terraces. Walk across the Pelota ball game court that is believed to have hosted the predecessor of the now-popular sport of basketball! Learn about the famous Mayan method of charting calendars at the grand observatory and admire the spectacular Temple of the Warriors with its 1,000 columns. Take a closer look at the Chac- Mool sacrificial sculpture before you travel on to the cenotes or sinkholes. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters of Selva Maya before it’s time to wind up your tour.Day 11: Thursday 8th April 2027: Cancun: (B)
Our small group tour concludes after breakfast and for most guests today it is time to say farewell to acquaintances, new-found friends and Mexico.At your leisure before your private transfer to La Aurora International Airport for your onward or homebound journey.
